You see Ivan…. Enemy can not aim through tears.
Jesus.
Seeing the wedding ring was interesting. Cause you know he played this for his wife. Wherever she is.According to the video cnn did on this guy back in 2014, he moved to the Ukrainian capitol after his wife and child had died. While volunteering with the revolution, he saw a piano in the square and decided to play.
Evidently he’s known as the Piano Extremist.
A Hero and Villain are fighting.
Villain starts to explain the reasoning behind his master plan to take over the world. Villain… does have some points. Hero acknowledges these, but also points out why the villain’s reasoning is flawed. Hero provides counterarguments for why Villain’s strategy is ultimately unsound. Villain counters, identifying counterexamples to Hero’s logic. Hero explains the further nuance in those examples. The two continue to fight, exchanging debate all the while about philosophy and realities of governance and ethical rule.
Finally, the Hero trips and the Villain has the upper hand. The Hero braces for the final blow–
–Only for the Villain to offer them a hand up, and say:
“You’ve given me a lot to think about.”
The Hero isn’t sure what just happened, but without ever laying their enemy low… this feels like a win.
This is my response for the Perc’ahlia Festival of Happiness – this is for @pyrohydriscence, for the prompt “shameless indulgence”. Fandom: Critical Role, Pairing: Percy/Vex, Rating: Gen. About 1800 words. On AO3.
Florian’s False Field is a practice range six miles outside of Emon: five miles northeast, and one mile more or less directly down. Admittance to the range grants a patron access to four open ranges of various terrain and difficulty, two maintained practice lanes, the services of a practiced wizard capable of creating illusory targets and challenges, and six hours of utter discretion.
As such, admittance comes at the steep price of 1000 gold per person, limiting attendance at Florian’s False Field to those of means.
Percy and Vex spend a day at Florian’s together every four weeks, like clockwork.
stop complaining that traumatized characters that actually act traumatized are whiny 2k18
