A couple years ago we did a mad scientist theme for Halloween, and my parents made all the cool lab stuff by hand so that it was actually functional. So now they have crazy looking steampunk lab equipment just around their house that whirs and bubbles and changes colors. And you’re never quite sure like… is this a lamp? Or is it also a stereo? Can I cook with it?
